Introduction: It is the oral course that is still the favored course for organization of restorative specialists in light of precise measurement, minimal expense treatment, self-medicine, harmless strategy, and simplicity of organization, prompting elevated degree of patient consistency.
Objective: The modern study aimed to formulate orodispersible tablets (ODT) using Kyron-T114 Ion Exchange Resin s.
Materials and Methods: Lurasidone hydrochloride was a gift sample from Piramal Health Care, Ahmedabad Gujarat. Excipients such as lactose, sodium starch glycolate, microcrystalline cellulose, aspartame, menthol, magnesium stearate and aerosil were provided by Apeejay Stya University School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Sohna, Haryana. All chemicals were of Pharma grade.
Results: The similarity of drug and excipients under test condition is significant and essential before formulation. The standard curve of Lurasidone hydrochloride was prepared in distilled water, Mcllvaine buffer pH 3.8 (0.025M citric acid and 0.05M di-sodium hydrogen phosphate) and methanol. The standard curve of Lurasidone hydrochloride was prepared in distilled water, Mcllvaine buffer pH 3.8 (0.025M citric acid and 0.05M di-sodium hydrogen phosphate) and methanol.
Conclusion: Lurasidone hydrochloride was achieved successfully in our research. A compatibility study was also done, proving drug compatibility.
