Abstract

Due to its beneficial effects on the teaching and learning process, the use of molecular models in education has proved the importance of this method. It is clear that using handmade tools is very important in science education. This study makes recommendations for using the molecular model in high schools and universities to teach and evaluate chemical skills and knowledge. Three molecular models for cubic system unit cells are presented in this research. The application of hand-made 3D molecular model has the potential to provide a fun and engaging learning situation for students. These models have the potential to change learning problem from abstract to real to promote a more positive attitude toward learning crystal systems.
