In this research the comprehensive analysis of various chemical components present in the Ipomoea carnea.Phytochemical studies was performed to study the major compounds like cellulose, hemicellulose, lignin, extractives and ash content. The chemical properties pf the pulp derived from Ipomoea Carnea was evaluated using standard laboratory methods to determine it suitability of paper production. This study aimed to investigate the chemical constituents of Ipomoea Carnea and to assess the suitability of pulp and paper making. Further the paper making characteristics of Ipomoea carne pulp were studied in comparison with the conventional pulp materials. According to the research, Ipomoea carnea may be used to make paper either on its own or in combination with other fibres. Types of sugars present in wood dust, holocellulose and hemicellulose fractions were also identified by paper chromatography. Ipomoea might be a viable alternative and sustainable raw material in the pulp and paper industry, according to the insightful findings of the investigation of its chemical composition and features.
