This major objective of this chapter is to focus on the usefulness of conventional medical procedures and herbal remedies in relation to the healthcare system and how they may be applied to address global health care challenges. The best alternatives to synthetic painkillers are already accessible, and they are made from plant-based natural compounds. They engage in a number of actions. Eddy's Hot plate, Tail Immersion, and Acetic Acid Induced Pain Models in Mice were used to assess the Aqueous Extract and Methanolic Extract of the Fruits of P. guajava. Different dosages of the extract (100 mg/kg and 200 mg/kg) were given orally by gastric gavage to P. guajava. It considerably (P 0.05) decreased the pain brought on by a hot plate (74.29%), a tail immersion (76.03%), and an abdominal contraction brought on by acetic acid (73.92%), respectively. Its efficacy was found to be equal to that of the common drugs pentazocin and diclofenac sodium. The extract of P. guajava contains flavonoids, tanins, and saponins, which are what give it its analgesic effects. According to the results, tannins and flavonoids both contribute to the effective analgesic action, making this a popular treatment. These are the most effective tools for regulating and treating the analgesic action of PGs pathways.
