Abstract

The present paper describes a new species Procamallanus kalingapatnamensis (Nematoda : Camallanidae Railliet & Henry. 1915) from the intestine of strk, Chiloscyllium indicum (Gmelin). Description is based on two male and two female worms from a large number of hosts examined. The new species could be characterized by body size, length of intestinal caecum, number and arrangement of caudal papillae, spicules length and shape of tail in both sexes.
