Abstract

Missing mandibular molars are challenging for rehabilitation with dental implants due to their anatomical and occlusal features. Dental implants have demonstrated a high degree of success in the restorations of teeth in partially or completely edentulous patients. However, Categorizing and analyzing design features of molars implants should help clinicians prioritize and select design features that facilitate treatment decisions for their patients in each clinical case. Clinicians should be aware of options and, should deliberately select the most appropriate implant for each specific indication based on these criteria in order to optimize survival and outcomes. It should clearly be recognized that implant selection alone will neither ensure success nor trigger failure in the absence of other surgical and prosthetic considerations. macro-design features and suggest clinical guidelines for choosing appropriate implants. This chapter describes and discuss a case of rehabilitation of missing two mandibular molars using implants supported crowns and a flapless surgery. It suggest clinical guidelines for choosing appropriate implants.
