Abstract

This chapter provides an overview of the diagnosis and management of soft tissue tuberculosis affecting the hand. Tuberculosis is a chronic infectious disease that can affect any part of the body, including the hand, which can lead to significant morbidity if not diagnosed and treated promptly. The chapter discusses the etiology, pathophysiology, and clinical presentation of soft tissue tuberculosis of the hand, as well as the various diagnostic methods available for its detection, including imaging studies and laboratory tests.
